Location
Westcove Farmhouse is located on the southernmost tip of the famous scenic Ring of Kerry. We overlook beautiful Kenmare Bay and sheltered Westcove Harbour, between the small villages of Castlecove and Caherdaniel. We are 10 miles west of Sneem and 10 miles east of Waterville. A car is essential unless you are walking the Kerry Way as there are no buses or trains in our local area.

By Air
The nearest airport is Kerry, 20 minutes north of Killarney and 1 ½ hours drive from Westcove. Check on the Ryanair, Aer Lingus and British Airways websites for flight services from the United Kingdom and Europe. Many airlines fly into Cork about 2 ¼ hours away. Shannon Airport is 3 ½ hours drive and Dublin 4 ½ to 5 hours.
By Sea
There is a choice of ferry companies, depending on where you originate.
From the UK Irish Ferries operate from Pembroke to Rosslare from Holyhead to Dublin and from France – Cherbourg to Dublin.
Stenaline also operate from Fishguard to Rosslare, from Holyhead to Dublin and from Cherbourg to Rosslare
The drive from Rosslare takes about 5 ½ hours

Driving Directions
From Kerry Airport drive through Killarney and on to the Muckross Road, thence through the National Park to the top of Molls Gap. Turn right to Sneem and on through Castlecove. After one mile you will see derelict buildings on your left and will reach a cross with a fingerpost sign to Westcove Bakery and Shop and large signs to Westcove Pier. Turn left up a small lane and Westcove Farmhouse is visible to the right.
From Cork take the N22 Killarney Road and follow it until about 10 miles short of Killarney where you turn left for Kenmare. Then follow the signs to Waterville. Ten miles after going through the pretty village of Sneem you reach Castlecove. Then directions as above from Kerry Airport.
