Midnight Feast

This is such a romantic gem of a place
Kevin & Sue, California

Self catering doesn’t really happen when you have such an amazing bakery downstairs. Loved catching mackerel in the rain and sharing a feast in the midnight hour.
Andrew & Lucy, London

We couldn’t have wished for a better introduction to Ireland, thanks in large part to the superb accommodation and the kind hospitality – this was our first visit but not our last.
Jenny & Bob, Gloucester

We came away needing some peace and found it in abundance. We have had blazing sun, roaring winds, torrential rain, all in a few days and have enjoyed them all, safely tucked up nice and cosy in the apartment when the weather blew angrily around us and out for walks in the sunshine.
Jon & Sue, U.K.

What a wonderful place to spend a honeymoon! We have enjoyed every minute of it here – it was only too short. The week seemed to fly by but there is still so much more to see and do around here.

After storm Derrynane

We couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay; we enjoyed visiting the sites in Kerry and also managed to recharge our batteries whilst relaxing in Westcove. What a beautiful place and what a host!
Guy & Emma, London

We had to get wild horses in this morning to drag us away from this beautiful place. The location is perfect and the apartment ideal. This area has some of the most beautiful scenery we have ever seen in the world.
Gordon & Sue, Scotland

We needed to get away from it all and we did, but we also got so much more. Jane’s warmth and friendliness made us feel at home and we found it very hard to drag ourselves away from the amazing views in this utterly charming apartment. So much to recommend; walking down to the pier to see the seals, enjoying the peacefulness of the “secret beach” only a wander away, the food and ‘craic’ in the Blind Piper, the local markets, walking the Kerry Way, Jane’s wonderful baking.

Derrynane beach

Our favourites:
The second hand bookshop in Kenmare
Black Pudding
The trip to the Skelligs – the Kittiwakes, Gannets, Puffins
The herons in the trees down at Westcove Pier screaming at the crows mobbing them
The window looking down at the harbour
The cosy, cosy bathroom………and more
Pam & Keith, Hants

We’ll miss your great baking – I could get very used to fresh bread, scones and croissants every morning, not to mention the cakes and pies!
Susan & Michael, Pennsylvania

We have travelled extensively, always preferring this kind of accommodation. Never have we been so happy and comfortable. Not only is Jane kind and intelligent but also highly creative and helpful. The area is beautiful of course but Jane’s home for travellers is the best part of this time here.
